Construction Laborer/Equipment Operator
Cornerstone Excavating, Inc. is an established and growing grading and underground utility installation company that works within a 75 mile radius of Washington, IA.
Specifically, we are looking for individuals to assist us with our excavation, grading and underground pipe installation – including water main, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer mains. We are willing to work with and train the right individuals to learn this business and develop the skills necessary to succeed.
Construction Laborers – Assists with the installation of underground utilities including storm drain lines, water mains and sanitary sewer mains.
Equipment Operators – must have the ability to operate or the aptitude and willingness to learn to operate the following types of equipment: Uni Loader, Rubber Tired Loader/Backhoe, Hydraulic Excavator, Bulldozer, Motor Grader, Tractor/Scraper, Articulated Dump Truck, Roller, etc.
Applicant must be able to provide their own transportation to and from work. They must be able to work Monday-Friday, and some Saturdays. Overtime is paid after 40 hours/week.
The salary is negotiable depending on previous experience. We provide a competitive wage couple with a flexible benefit package offering health, dental, vision and supplementary benefits. Qualified individuals will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Class A CDL Driver
Cornerstone Excavating Inc. is an established and growing grading and underground utility installation company that works primarily in the Washington, Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty and Tiffin area as well as within a 75 mile radius of Washington, IA.
Specifically we are looking for individuals to drive our side dump tractor/trailers and/or dump trucks as well as perform other needed tasks to assist with our grading operations and the installation of underground utilities. We are willing to work with and train the right individuals to learn this business and develop the skills necessary to succeed.
Applicant must be able to provide their own transportation to and from work. They must be able to work M – F and some Saturdays. The typical workday is from 7:00 – 5:30, but may include some extended hours and Saturdays. Overtime is paid after 40 hrs/wk.
